1988 - The birth of Climatempo
In September 1988, meteorologists Carlos Magno and Ana Lúcia Frony founded Climatempo. The company's first customer was Nestlé, which wanted a secure source for frost forecasting in Brazil's coffee park. Then came the partnership with Radio Eldorado.
1999 - On the air, Climatempo TV
The channel brings reliable and timely weather information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
2000 - Climatempo on the Internet
The company invests in its web positioning, offering the public online consultation of forecasts and a series of content about the daily impact of weather.
2000 - Welcome to Agroclima
Always ahead of the market, Climatempo launches a channel dedicated to agribusiness, which has become a reference in the sector.
2006 - Climatempo Group
The company unifies its areas and forms the Climatempo Group, composed by Climatempo Consultoria, Climatempo Agency, Climanet, Climatempo TV and Climatempo Produções.
2007 - The sky speaks
Company goes through image reformulation and modernization, winning the iconic slogan: The sky speaks. We understand.
2010 - Climatempo in the palm of your hand
Company presents its first mobile app for iOS and Android.
2011 - SMAC
Launch of the Climatempo Monitoring and Alerting System (SMAC) with real-time alerts of storms, windstorms, hail or lightning strikes.
2012 - ClimaKids
In partnership with Mauricio de Sousa Produções, Climatempo presents to the market an exclusive portal for children. With a playful interface, Monica's Gang explained to the little ones everything about the weather forecast.
2013 - We Are One Million
Climatempo's Facebook page reaches the milestone of one million followers.
2014 - Indispensable App
Climatempo application is elected the second most important for the city by residents of São Paulo, behind only Google Maps, according to IBOPE survey.
2015 - Innovation is our business: Labs Climatempo
The Climatempo Group takes its Innovation, Research and Development department to the São José dos Campos Technology Park (PqTec - SJC), in São Paulo, and expands investments in the area.
2016 - Creation of ADVISOR
Innovation in a unique tool for Marketing and Advertising, which brings together weather information, market intelligence and specialized media.
2017 - Meet the Celsius
Climatempo Facebook gets an exclusive channel for real time service. Celsius, a ChatBot to interact with users, is born.
2017 - Agroclima PRO arrives
Climatempo's agrometeorology and precision tool is officially presented to the public during ANDAV 2017.
2017 - AgroTalk: Agrobusiness Streaming
First free online platform for agricultural climate and productivity content in the field.
2018 - Weather Radar
Launched during Agrishow 2018, it enables monitoring of crop burns and field rain.
2018 - New Climatempo APP
Climatempo app arrives reformulated, to be closer to the user.
2019 - Climatempo - A StormGeo Company
Climatempo joins forces with Norwegian StormGeo, a global leader in weather intelligence and decision support solutions.
2019 - APP Agroclima PRO
To complete the service, app is released with weather forecast for 72 hours, 15 days and weather trends, for the farmer.
2019 - Most Innovative Company
